| • Can I choose my own colours?
In principal no, this is because our artists have
developed a number of colour combinations that
complement each other. This ensures that the adaptation
of the canvas really stands out and makes the product
special. For a single panel a female would be given a
pink background and a male a blue background. The
colours that are used for most of the panels are used as
examples on this site.
If you order more than one panel to be hung next to
each other then we can create a variation in background
colours. It is also possible to make slight adjustments
concerning colour that would be in keeping with your
interior. Please ensure to inform us of all details via
phone or email.
• Can work be completed within in a
shorter time-frame than the specified 21 days (15 work
days)?
The specified 21 days is maximum delivery time. In general, work is completed and delivered within two weeks. Unfortunately we are unable to guarantee this owing to possible complications with printing for example, for this reason we specify 21 days.
• What type of frames do Personal Art have
available?
This is totally dependant on the material you choose
for the artwork. Canvas works are delivered with a black
wooden lightweight frame, which is provided with an iron
steel cord to enable you to hang the artwork. This frame
creates a black edging of approximately 2cm, which gives
the painting an extra dimension as the bright colours
from the artwork contrast favourably with the black
frame. Posters are delivered with a rust free steel
frame, which can also be purchased in IKEA.
• What is Canvas?
Canvas is a type of artists’ cloth that the paint is
sprayed on to. Canvas is stiffer, thicker and more
expensive than paper. And adds an extra dimension to the
artwork giving it the feel that the application is
actually painted onto the panel. The canvas is finally
pulled taught using a special arm.
• When is a piece landscape (longest side
horizontal) and when is a piece portrait (longest side
vertical)?
A 1-panel and a 4-panel with 1 face per panel are
portraits. If the artwork includes more faces per panel
landscape is used.
A 6-panel comes as standard in landscape but if you
prefer it to be a portrait you can inform us by phone or
e-mail. A 9-panel is always a portrait, we do not recommend
a landscape as the surface becomes too thin.
• Can I send normal (analogue) photos?
Yes you can. We make use of a professional scanner
that turns analogue photos into digital images (files),
without affecting the quality of the final product.
Photos can be sent to:

• How is the artwork sent?
Personal Art artworks are sent with a professional
courier. The pieces are bubble wrapped and then packed
in strong cardboard boxes. A piece of framed work is
sent with corner protectors.
If you are not home to receive your artwork then the
courier will leave it with a neighbour or put a note
through your letter box.
• Is it possible to order pieces in
non-standard sizes?
Yes you can, but we do not have a standard price list
for this. We suggest that you drop us an email or call
us to discuss your requests and an estimate can be based
on this exchange of information.

the added security of Worldpay. Once you have
selected your artwork, you will go to our payment website
which is operated by Worldpay. You don't need
